Ten thousand business properties across Salford will benefit from a package to help the high street and support businesses announced in this week’s Autumn Statement. Salford Conservatives have welcomed this additional support for local businesses, especially those in local town centres.

Cranleigh Drive Application Set For Decision

The Conservative Councillors for Walkden South, Les Turner and Iain Lindley, promised to keep residents informed of any news about Peel’s application (planning reference 13/63859/OUT) to build up to 15 dwellings on the green field site to the south of Mesne Lea Road, with access from Cranleigh Drive.

Crime Down 23% Across Greater Manchester

Salford Conservatives have welcomed news that recorded crime in Greater Manchester has fallen once again. Latest figures from the independent Office for National Statistics now show that from June 2010 to June 2013 recorded crime in the GMP area has fallen by 23%.
