A message from Charlotte Woods: a fresh voice for Claremont, Pendlebury and Irlams o' th' Height

Dear Neighbour,

It is a great honour to be able to put my name forward to be your Councillor at the by-election on Thursday 5th October. I wanted to write to you one last time before the election to let you know what I promise to do should I be lucky enough to be elected.

I live in Salford with my partner, Josh, and our two cats, Noel and Nero. I love our area and I love living here. I have a genuine fire in my belly about making Claremont an amazing place to live, work, and raise a family.

I hope I can be something different, some fresh blood who has new ideas about the Council and who can serve our community with energy, passion and dedication.

I want you to know that if I elected, I will fight for you not only in the Council Chamber, but on every issue facing our community, be it the Labour Council's decision to cut our bins to three weekly collections, or local congestion and the state of our highways.

I want to be the councillor that local people deserve - not more of the same from Labour. I came second in the by-election in June and I am the only candidate who can beat Labour here.

Thank you to everyone who has spoken to me or one of my team. If elected, I promise to keep in touch all year round - not just at election time. I would also keep local people informed about what I'm doing with regular newsletters, active social media channels, and surgeries.

If you want to contact me with any particular questions, please feel free to give me a call on 07540616440 or email me on charlottewoods@me.com

I hope I can count on your vote at the election on Thursday 5th October. I promise I won't let you down.

Yours,

Charlotte
