Prime Minister Takes Time Out Of Busy Schedule To Talk With Local Party Leaders

Councillr Les Turner, Salford Conservative Group Leader was pleased to be invited to take part in private discussions with Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
The Prime Minister had been visiting residents in Didsbury, Greater Manchester who had been evacuated due to flood worries.

At the meeting, which was conducted over videoconference, the Prime Minister gave an update on the roll out of vaccinations, which he said are progressing at speed, and expressed his confidence in reaching the Government's target of mid February.

National as well as local matters were discussed after which a question and answer session took place.
Cllr Turner commented that the meeting was a very rewarding and felt fortunate that his question was answered. He's grateful Salford Conservatives had the opportunity to partake and make a contribution, and looked forward to the next invitation.
